Everton vs Sheffield United team news: The Everton boss spoke ahead of his side’s Premier League clash this weekend.

Sean Dyche confirmed that there are no new injury concerns ahead of their clash with Sheffield United this weekend.

The Toffees take on the already-relegated outfit at Goodison Park this weekend as they look to build on their brilliant run of four wins in six games. Recent wins over Burnley, Nottingham Forest, Brentford and, most impressively, Liverpool, have saved them from the drop and now the final two games take on a far different feel than many anticipated.

Chris Wilder’s side have lost six of their last seven including their most recent home game with Nottingham Forest which saw them reach the unwanted record of conceding 100 goals in the league this season - as they equaled the record set by Swindon Town in 1993-94.

Dyche spoke to the media ahead of their encounter to give the latest on his team’s injury and fitness issues.

Everton team news:

Dyche confirmed there were no new issues which means the same squad that was available for the Luton draw last week should be the same again. He said, “Most [players] are around it, no one is seriously injured, the same group should be ready to go again. We’re picking a team to win the game, there might be certain changes, we’ve come through training unscathed, we want to go into the game and win it.’

Long-term absentees still include Dele Alli who has struggled with a groin injury and hasn’t featured all season. Plus, Nathan Patterson was forced to have hamstring surgery last month and he faces a race against time to be fit for the Euros this summer while Vitalyi Mykolenko (ankle) is also targeting the tournament after being ruled out for the season.

Sheffield United team news:

Wilder has an extensive list of injuries to contend with and he won’t be able to call upon Everton loanee Mason Holgate who is not able to feature against his parent club and won’t be able to add to the nine appearances he’s made for the Blades since joining in January. Plus, former Everton midfielder Tom Davies hasn’t featured for two months and remains a doubt for this season.

Centre-back Anel Ahmedhodzic is also absent after being sent off last weekend. In terms of injuries, Rhys Norrington-Davies (hamstring) Daniel Jebbinson (ilness) Ollie McBurnie (thigh) George Baldock (calf) John Egan (achilles) Max Lowe (ankle) and Chris Basham (ankle) are all missing.
